Blueberry Cobbler

1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter plus more for buttering dish
1 1/4 cup sugar, divided
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 generous cups blueberries (about 250-300 g)
Melt butter in microwaveable dish. Pour flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup of the sugar into a mixing bow. Mix well. Whisk in milk then pour in melted butter and whisk it all together well. Butter a baking dish. Now rinse the blueberries and pat dry. Pour the batter into the buttered baking dish. Sprinkle blueberries over the top of the batter, distributing evenly.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar over the top. Bake at 350 degrees F (176 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until golden and bubbly. If you'd like, sprinkle an additional teaspoon of sugar over the cobbler 10 minutes before it's done.

Then serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Or both.

Then fight over the last piece.

Number of Servings: 8
